Founded by CEO, Simon Hall and CTO, Chris Eccles, Coeus provides cloud-based workforce mobility platforms that are designed to deliver smarter working and effect positive business change. Through transforming digital working processes, Coeus’s PoliceBox® and award-winning Quvo® SaaS based mobility platforms can revolutionise organisational efficiency, accountability and cost-control for Police, public sector, corporate or SME businesses. Designed for mobile workforces that need to use or gather auditable data and intelligence, the workforce mobility platforms can collect information on any smart handheld device – bringing together tasking, data-collection, workflows, real-time dashboards and access to corporate data.
Coeus’ products are based on a unified platform developed in-house with each product optimised for its target market. The business adopts an agile development methodology, enabling products to continuously evolve and meet changing market or organisational requirements.
With police efficiency under greater scrutiny than ever before and forces required to deliver more from their current level of service, the PoliceBox® mobility platform is perfectly aligned with the new ‘digitalisation’ agenda of the police force and Police National Compliance procedures. It is the UK’s only fully customisable platform, allowing constabularies to mobilise operational processes without the need for costly, bespoke and time-consuming software development. It’s already been successfully rolled out with a growing number of UK police forces including Avon & Somerset, Dorset and Sussex. With the need to ‘go digital’ increasing in both the public and private sector every day, the benefits of digitising processes to drive greater efficiency and cost savings can help organisations of all types to boost their service levels, even when their resources are severely depleted.
It’s a solution model that Simon Hall, Co-founder and CEO of Coeus is really passionate about and clearly excited by in terms of its potential for helping them develop new job opportunities in Teeside and Cumbria: “We’ve created a mobility platform to enable smarter working. Our vision is to empower organisations to digitally transform their working processes to bring about swift, quantifiable and beneficial business change. This investment is perfectly timed, to enable us to expand into a growing market as customers move over to Office 365 and Microsoft Azure® We are excited about growing our operations, providing fantastic new job opportunities in the North of England and further developing our links with Northern universities.”
Echoing the Government’s commitment to improving skills and employment prospects in the region, Coeus has already established a number of strong partnerships with training, educational and other bodies including Tees Valley.
Combined Authority. The technology company is also looking to work closely with Teesside University, helping develop the digital skills of the next generation of graduates and boosting the Government’s plans for establishing a major technology hub in the area. As with its relationships with regional partners in Middlesbrough, Coeus is looking via its North West satellite office to develop strong links with training and educational establishments throughout Cumbria. Following its latest investment, the company will look to create more job openings as it continues to expand its operations.
